Dream Career Certificate Courses Online

I purchased the Early Childhood Education certificate and the content was not even close to what is required by childcare licensing in my state. I contacted the state licensing board to ask if this credential would count toward staff qualification requirements and they had never heard of IAP College. The course took less than a day to complete. No real institution would call this adequate preparation for working with children.

The Financial Planning certificate course I took had some useful general information but it is absolutely not a substitute for CFP certification or anything recognized in the financial services industry. I listed it on LinkedIn and had a recruiter actually message me asking what institution this was because they had never heard of it. Not the kind of attention you want. The course itself was passable but the credential has no real market value.

I enrolled in the Life Coaching and NLP certificate course and finished it in one sitting. That should tell you something. The content read like a Wikipedia summary of NLP concepts with no real depth, no case studies, and no practical application exercises. When I tried to join a professional coaching organization with this credential, I was told it didn't meet their educational standards. I feel like I was sold a certificate, not an education.
