Morris Publishing

Morris Publishing helped me put together a beautiful collection of my late husband's poetry. The saddle-stitch binding option was perfect for the slim volume and the ivory paper they use gives it an elegant feel. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that their website could be a little more user-friendly, but the end product was wonderful.

I had a frustrating experience with Morris Publishing. The proof I approved looked great but the final batch of books had noticeably darker images than expected. When I contacted customer service, they were polite but slow to respond and the resolution process dragged on for weeks. I eventually got a partial reprint but lost significant time before my book launch event.

Extremely disappointed with my experience. I ordered 75 copies of my nonprofit's annual report and over a dozen arrived with misaligned covers. The customer service representative I spoke with was dismissive and made me feel like I was being unreasonable for expecting consistent quality. The replacement copies also had minor issues. For the price I paid I expected much better.

Morris Publishing was recommended to me but my experience was underwhelming. The production timeline they quoted was three weeks and it ended up taking nearly six. I had to reach out multiple times just to get status updates. The book quality itself was decent but the communication issues and delays caused me to miss a speaking engagement where I planned to sell copies. Hopefully they improve their project management.

Mixed feelings about Morris Publishing. The printing quality on the interior pages was good but the cover on several copies started peeling at the corners after minimal handling. When I reported this they did offer a discount on a future order rather than replacing the defective copies which felt like a brush-off. I might try them again but I'd probably order a smaller test batch first.
