Crazy for Ewe

Great shop overall — the variety of local and indie dyer yarns is hard to find anywhere else. I came in looking for a specific colorway I'd seen on Instagram and the staff tracked it down within minutes. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that parking nearby is a bit of a hassle, but that's not really the store's fault. The knitting circle they host on Tuesday evenings is a lovely bonus.

Placed an online order for a kit that included the pattern, yarn, and needles all bundled together. Everything arrived well within the estimated window and the kit was complete and accurate. The yarn quality is excellent — no splitting or pilling after my test swatch. I knocked off one star only because the pattern PDF link in my confirmation email was broken and I had to email customer service to get it resent. They fixed it quickly though, so no big deal.

Signed up for their monthly yarn subscription box and have been subscribed for four months now. Each box has been thoughtfully curated with a theme — one month was all ocean-inspired colorways, another was earthy autumn tones. The included pattern cards are a nice touch. Shipping is reliable and the packaging is eco-friendly which I appreciate. Dropped a star because one month the box arrived with a skein that had a knot mid-skein, which is frustrating, but overall it's a lovely subscription.
