I had an incredible experience working with Expertbookpublishing on my debut memoir. From the very first consultation, their team was professional, responsive, and genuinely passionate about helping authors succeed. My editor caught nuances I had completely overlooked, and the final manuscript looked polished and ready for readers. The entire process felt collaborative and encouraging. I couldn't be happier with how my book turned out, and I've already recommended them to two friends who are working on their own projects.

Overall I had a good experience with Expertbookpublishing for my self-help book. The marketing team put together a solid launch plan that included social media outreach and an Amazon optimization strategy. My book hit a couple of category bestseller lists in the first week, which I was thrilled about. There were a few minor delays in communication during the middle of the campaign, but nothing that derailed the project. I'd work with them again for my next title.

I signed a contract with Expertbookpublishing six months ago and my book still isn't published. Every time I follow up, I get a vague response about the team being busy or some technical issue holding things up. I paid a significant upfront fee for a full publishing package and feel like I've been left in the dark. The initial sales call was smooth and they promised a 90-day turnaround, but that promise clearly meant nothing. I'm now consulting with a lawyer about my options.

This company is an absolute nightmare to deal with. I hired them for editing services on my business book and what I received back was barely touched. There were still grammatical errors on the first page that I had flagged in my original notes. When I complained, they offered a re-edit but the second version was even worse. The editor clearly didn't read the manuscript carefully at all. I wasted over $1,200 and ended up hiring a freelance editor from another platform to fix the mess. Stay far away.

The author support team at Expertbookpublishing was incredibly hard to reach after I signed my contract. Before signing, my account rep answered emails within hours. After payment, it sometimes took two weeks to get a response. I was working on a children's picture book and needed guidance on illustration coordination, which was supposedly included in my package. That guidance never materialized. I ended up figuring things out on my own through YouTube tutorials. Disappointing for the price I paid.

I was sold a premium marketing package for my thriller novel and the results were essentially zero. They claimed they would submit my book to book clubs, bloggers, and newsletter features. What I actually got was a handful of low-quality blog posts on sites with no real traffic and a social media post that had fewer than 20 likes. When I asked for a performance report, the document they sent was full of vague metrics and no real data. I genuinely believe they just ran a few automated posts and called it a campaign.

My experience with Expertbookpublishing was a mixed bag. The actual book formatting looked nice and the cover design was decent, but the timeline was stretched way beyond what was promised. I was told my poetry collection would be published in eight weeks and it ended up taking nearly five months. Customer service was hit or miss depending on who you got on the phone. One rep was wonderful and another was dismissive. I got there eventually but the stress wasn't worth the price tag.

I feel genuinely deceived by this company. I was promised a dedicated author success coach as part of my package, but after the first introductory call, that person became completely unreachable. I left voicemails, sent emails, and even used the chat function on their website with no meaningful response for weeks at a time. My book was eventually uploaded to Amazon with the wrong author bio and a typo in the subtitle. Getting them to fix it took another three weeks of back and forth. This is not what a professional publisher looks like.
