Worst customer service experience I've had with any company in years. I've been trying to cancel my contract for two months and every time I call I get transferred around and put on hold for 30 to 45 minutes. Nobody seems to know how to process a cancellation. I was also charged an early termination fee that was not clearly disclosed when I signed up. The system itself was mediocre at best — the app crashed constantly and the camera resolution was much lower than what was advertised. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

I am beyond frustrated with Safe Streets. I signed up for a three-year monitoring contract and was told I could cancel with 30 days notice. When I tried to cancel after 18 months due to a job relocation, they told me I owed over $400 in early termination fees. The contract language was buried in fine print and the sales rep never mentioned it. The monitoring itself was unreliable — there were at least four times the alarm triggered and nobody called me. What am I paying for? Complete scam in my opinion.
I specifically asked before signing if my neighborhood had reliable enough internet for the system to work properly. The sales rep assured me it would be fine. It has not been fine. The cameras go offline regularly, sometimes for hours at a time. The monitoring center has called me multiple times due to connectivity errors that trigger false alerts. I've had to put my dogs in another room to avoid stress from the noise. Tech support has come out twice and the problem persists. I'm locked into a contract I desperately want out of.
This company sold me a system that was completely wrong for my property. I live on a rural lot with limited cellular signal and the system relies heavily on cellular backup. Nobody asked about my location or signal strength during the sales process. The system barely functions and the monitoring center can't reach me half the time. I was told the only fix is to upgrade to a more expensive plan with different hardware — which of course costs more money. I feel like I was set up to fail just to be upsold. Avoid.
