Safe Streets

Mixed feelings about Safe Streets. The equipment itself is decent and the installation was done correctly. However, the customer support leaves a lot to be desired. I had a billing discrepancy where I was charged twice in one month and it took six phone calls and a month and a half to get the refund processed. The monitoring is reliable but the app is clunky and freezes regularly on my Android phone. I also feel like I'm paying for features I don't use. It's an okay service but not great.

My experience with Safe Streets has been average at best. The installation was fine and the technician was polite. But the monthly cost has crept up twice since I signed on — small increases that weren't clearly communicated. When I called to ask about it, I was told it was in the terms of service. Maybe so, but a heads-up would have been nice. The system works most of the time but I've had a couple of sensor malfunctions. Nothing catastrophic but for a security company you'd hope for a higher standard of reliability.
