The Simple & Fun Way to Crush Your PMHNP Exam—First Time!

Mixed experience overall. Some parts of the curriculum were genuinely excellent, especially the medication modules, but other sections felt rushed or incomplete. I found several practice questions that had what I believe are incorrect answer explanations, which is concerning when you are trying to learn accurate clinical information. I passed my exam but I am not sure this program deserves all the hype it gets.

Mixed feelings about this program. The content itself is decent and covers the major topic areas you need for the PMHNP exam. But the tutoring component felt like an afterthought. My sessions were with a different person almost every time, so there was no continuity and I had to re-explain my weak areas repeatedly. It felt disorganized. I passed my exam but I think I would have been just as prepared with a cheaper self-study option. Not terrible, but not what I expected for the price.

Decent practice questions but the overall program feels like it's still being developed. There were broken links in several of the content modules and some sections were marked as coming soon even though they were listed as included in my package. I emailed support and got a canned response. The tutor I worked with was helpful personally, but I couldn't shake the feeling that I was paying for an unfinished product. I passed my exam but I'd encourage them to fix these issues before charging premium rates.

I have very mixed feelings writing this review. On one hand, I did pass my PMHNP boards. On the other hand, I'm not sure how much credit goes to NP Exam Coach versus my own studying. The program has some solid features—particularly the timed practice exams—but the tutoring felt inconsistent and I went weeks without meaningful interaction with my assigned coach. For the price point, I expected more engagement and accountability. Probably okay as a supplemental resource but I wouldn't rely on it exclusively.
