Came in to find yarn for a wedding shawl project and left feeling completely taken care of. The staff helped me calculate exactly how many skeins I'd need for my pattern, suggested a silk-merino blend that felt absolutely luxurious, and even helped me find a set of interchangeable circular needles that fit my budget. The shop has such a warm, community feel. I also noticed they have a board where local knitters post finished objects — such a sweet touch.

Ordered online and it took nearly three weeks for my package to arrive with no tracking updates for the last ten days. I emailed twice and got one automated response and then silence. When the yarn finally showed up, one of the skeins was a completely different colorway than what I ordered. I get that small shops get busy, but basic communication shouldn't be this hard. The yarn quality itself is fine, but I won't be ordering online again.

Visited the store on a Saturday afternoon and was completely ignored for the entire 20 minutes I browsed. There were two employees chatting behind the counter and neither one acknowledged me or offered help. When I finally approached to ask a question about needle sizes, the response I got was dismissive and vague — basically a shrug. I've been crocheting for fifteen years and I know what I'm talking about, so I didn't need hand-holding, just basic customer service. Left without buying anything and won't be back.

The website advertised a sale on DK weight yarns but when I got to the store none of the sale items were actually available. The staff said they'd sold out online and forgot to update the site. That's understandable once, but I called ahead specifically to ask if they had the yarn in stock and was told yes. Wasted a 45-minute round trip. Inventory management needs serious work.

I purchased four skeins of a hand-dyed yarn for a large shawl project, and when I began knitting I noticed significant dye lot inconsistency — two skeins were noticeably darker than the other two even though they were all labeled the same lot. When I contacted the store to ask about returning or exchanging them, I was told all sales on hand-dyed yarn are final and that 'variation is part of the charm.' That might be true for slight variation, but this was a visible difference that ruined my project. Very disappointed.

The store is beautiful and the yarn selection is genuinely impressive. However, I found the prices to be significantly higher than comparable shops online — even accounting for supporting a small business, some of the markups felt excessive. I ended up buying one skein as a treat but couldn't justify the full purchase I had planned. I also wish they had more budget-friendly options for beginners who want to practice without spending $30 per skein.

Signed up for a knitting workshop that was advertised as suitable for intermediate knitters. When I arrived, the instructor started from absolute zero — casting on, holding needles, everything I already knew. When I mentioned I was intermediate, I was told the class description was being updated and that this session was actually a beginner class. No one emailed to let registrants know. I paid $45 for two hours of watching someone teach people how to hold yarn.

My wife ordered a gift set for me for my birthday — a yarn bundle and a set of bamboo needles. The needles arrived snapped in the packaging, which suggests they were packed carelessly. We contacted customer service and were told to send photos, which we did, and then heard nothing for a week. After following up again we were offered store credit instead of a replacement or refund. We just wanted what we paid for. Very frustrating experience start to finish.
