Disappointed with my recent purchase. I ordered what was listed as a Grade A trilobite and what arrived looked more like a heavily restored piece with visible filler and paint that wasn't disclosed in the description. When I emailed about it I got a vague response saying that some restoration is standard in the industry, which I understand, but not when it's not disclosed upfront. I had to push through two more emails to get a partial refund. Not a smooth experience.

I ordered a megalodon tooth that was listed as five to six inches. What showed up was barely four inches. I measured it three times. When I contacted customer service they told me measurements are approximate and refer to the longest edge, which was not explained anywhere in the listing. The tooth itself is nice but I feel misled by the description. For the price I paid, accuracy in listing details really matters.
The website photos are heavily edited and don't represent the actual color or condition of the specimens accurately. The shark tooth I ordered looked jet black and glossy in the listing but arrived as a dull grayish-brown with visible chips on the edges. I understand natural variation but the difference was significant enough that I felt the listing was misleading. Returns are also complicated and not clearly explained on the site. Took a lot of back and forth to sort out.
